Sponsoring a Mitchell Fellow

The Mitchell Fellows Program is a comprehensive, 2-year training and mentorship program that puts selected HBCU students on the path toward successful entrepreneurship, political and community leadership.  Students are chosen based on scholastic aptitude, demonstration of a solid commitment to community development and service, and the ability to complete all program criteria within the required timeframe.  The purpose of the Mitchell Fellows Program is to groom “new” Parren Mitchell’s--to create the next generation of successful entrepreneurs and political leaders that are well-prepared, well-trained, well-connected, intelligent and committed.  As the Foundation exhausts its resources to ensure that Fellows have access to needed people, finances and institutions, students begin sewing their seeds by providing the Foundation and other entities with the needed support for research and new ideas.

A 2 year sponsorship - $25,000
